I honestly couldn’t be happier to finally share with the world the new online space I have been working on. At nearly two and a half years in, say hello to a new look, a new website and a blog too. As the first post to grace this blog, I wanted to tell you all some more details about the new online space I have created and what you can expect to see as Medialuxe begins a new chapter.
So why the changes? It’s no secret that when you run a business, the first two years are full of lessons as you learn who your audience is, what they really want from you and what works best. All whilst you establish your brand identity and presence too. In the spring, when I celebrated two years since the set up of Medialuxe, I naturally began to do lots of thinking towards the future of my business.
With the learnings I had, I started to work on really refining the direction and my offering. This led me to see that my visual branding just didn’t feel right anymore. It made total sense to give my business a makeover to match where it’s at and where it’s heading – so here we are as Medialuxe begins a new chapter!
After plenty of pinning, a favourite pastime of mine, and thinking about how I wanted the brand to look, I worked with creative designer Laura Butlin-Policarpo from Paper By Her to help bring my brand vision to life. Embracing a more editorial feel, Laura effortlessly created the polished aesthetic I wanted to achieve, designing each element for the rebrand.
I also worked with photographer Rosie Kelly to capture new content. It’s something I don’t often find the time for and so it’s been a total pleasure to collaborate with Rosie and I’m over the moon with the incredible images she has taken. As a once upon a time visual merchandiser, I’ve always loved creating covetable setups and so spending the day styling different displays for the shoot was such a wonderfully creative day.
Along with the rebrand, I felt I also needed a new online space to communicate all things Medialuxe and so when Louise from Fleurir Online released her new templates, I knew it was the right time to make the move. I’ve pretty much been working away to get the site ready ever since and so I hope you love it as much as I do.
So here we are, it’s September 2019 and I’m so looking forward to seeing what happens next. I love that I can offer completely bespoke brand copywriting and communications services to my clients, after all, no two brands are the same and along with the addition of brand consultancy calls and sessions, I can’t wait to get started supporting more inspiring product-based brands.
Content-wise, I’ll be updating this blog regularly with a mix of brand tips and more lifestyle-led journal posts, showing up on stories a little more and I’ll continue to send out a monthly edition of Luxe Mail to subscribers too.
